CAPS Rating:
****

The Company is the provider of private educational services in China based on the number of program offerings, total student enrollments and geographic presence.

Your call - Will this stock outperform or underperform the S&P 500? Successful picks are measured in terms of whether or not you were correct and by how many percentage points.

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

Premier English education provider in China. I was very impressed by their classes and the quality of the students...as well as by students dedication to the school. Price is high, but valuation not bad if high growth rates keep up and EDU can avoid American style pay-for-education style scandals.

High PE and trailing PE ratio. Inflated valuation . Also rumors still about about a possible copyright infringement suit. Additional ADR's for an increased number of shares issued on Feb 8, 2007. Lock-up period expires on Monday March 5th, 2007. I look for officers to unload shares, while price ...More

great concept/company BUT the value is just too high - especially in this market. This is a late stage growth company. When the great growth slows - the momentum will leave and the stock will fall.

EDU's primary business is helping chinese pass foreign language exams so they can study abroad. As chinese economy takes off, the drive to study abroad is in decline as people will find more opportunities at home. Another downturn force is that more and more foreign schools are opening branches in china with lower barrier imposed on foreign language exam score.
