Worthington Industries, Inc. (NYSE:WOR)

Worthington just announced a wopping 32% quarter over quarter increase in sales and EPS of $.42 beating the streets $.28 estimate by a wide margin. This company is a major player in the fabricated steel industry, but at the low end of the mid-cap world hides from the focus on the larger players. With a recovery in auto, construction and manufacturing coming sooner than later, Worthington will continue to see strong results. The management spent the last two years making the company lean and mean so that they could rebound with a vengance when the world began it's recovery. This is just the first of many quarters that will show the fruits of those efforts.
