Sold this awhile ago with only marginal gains. Sure it won't tank if we go through another market crash but, in these times of gains it will always underperform the S&P. The people high up on director's board have set the bar really high on sales to screw over investors. This stock should already be past $60 but notice in the past 5 years it has hardly moved

Absolutely dominant. Unparalleled leverage with product manufacturers. Some place product with WMT at margins that are barely break-even, because they can't bear to lose the market-share they would concede by just not going with Wal-Mart.

Walmart is the ultimate disruptive technology. Their business practices and efficencies drive their competitors crazy. The low-price option will always win out in business and Walmart will always push for the lowest price. I like it long-term.

This one puzzles me. This company does nothing but make money. Sure it is bottom basement, but you get the same stuff here cheaper than down the road. As unpopular as Walmart can be it has the foresight to go places it has not been before such as computers and TV's as well as online shopping. Site to store gives it a shipping advantage over other online companies. They don't pay that great but they do offer employment opportunities where others don't. Competitive advantage, make money, pay a dividend, price does not match numbers. It will correct over time, but it will do it in a boring, unexciting way. If you need a flashy company this is not your play.
