Historically this stocks price has not be stellar. If Wendys could not do well in good times, how can WEN do good in bad times.

Wendy's has been getting slammed recently. Much of this is because of its outdated stores and outdated atmosphere. But its menu is fair, if too often changed, and new restaurants have a much better vibe. For Wendy's, it is a question of time: a heavy debt load, a poor return on equity, and a poor profit margin are of course significant challenges. Unloading Arby's was a good move, and management could turn this ship around, leading to substantial rewards for shareholders. But this is a high risk investment until the direction of the company is more visible.

I just like Wendy's. Probably a bad reason for a pick. Just because their product is good, does not mean that the company is well ran. however the potential is still there, and I for one will continue to eat there.
