They just opened up their North American Headquarters here in Portland Oregon, the best city for that I think. Until biotech revolutionizes the fuel business, dinosaur energy will keep getting more expensive relative to wind generators: the low hanging fruit has already been picked, beep water drilling will become a "not near my yard" issue, and electric cars are finally viable. There could be short-term glitches like rare-earth imports drying up, but this kind of progress will march along, subsidies or no. I like thin film solar more, but Nano-Solar is private, and the electrical system is more complicated for me; this is simple.
