TheStreet.com, Inc. (TSCM)

CAPS Rating:
***

The Company with its subsidiaries is a multimedia provider of business, investment and ratings content.

Rating a stock in CAPS consists of three components:

Your call - Will this stock outperform or underperform the S&P 500? Successful picks are measured in terms of whether or not you were correct and by how many percentage points.

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

Is business lousy for financial services? Yes. Is the online ad market going down the tubes? Also yes. But TheStreet.com has ample free cash flow, and sizeable cash reserves. If management manages to achieve the 20% growth that Wall Street postulates for it, the stock is undervalued by a good 50%. T...More

Cramer is starting to be exposed. He's a hedge fund hound, his picks are great if you can spread false rumors on the street or get banks to leverage your position 100X. Check his own video out. Very shady...

I believe in Cramer's ability to entertain and inform. Sometimes he is right and sometimes not but he always makes you think. I also believe in stocks with small market caps and good fundamentals like this one. If Yahoo Finance is right about how much cash this company has on its balance sheet, then it could endure two years worth of quarters like the last one and still stay afloat.

REAL cheap. I believe the recent falloff will get more people interested in following the market -- even if not investing in it -- rather than just assuming their 401(k) is OK.

Agree or disagree with him, you have to give it to the guy that he generates interest.

Even though CAPS shows only one- to five-star rankings, behind the scenes, all companies in CAPS have a distinct numerical ranking. In other words, there is a No. 1 stock in CAPS and a worst-ranked stock in CAPS. When you arrive at the top-ranked stock, clicking "Beat this Stock!" will cause the page to refresh.

That is, until there is a new No. 1 stock!
