P/E is too high and I don't see them going much higher than they are now, but in the not-so-short term I think they'll do just fine. They remain a leader in their field--for now. What worries me is what happens in the next 8-10 years? As flash memory… More

I used to love it, but everyone got irrational when the bad weather hit.

Traditional hard drives aren't going away any time soon, so SSD component makers aren't going to be eating Seagate's lunch. But, WD, Fujitsu, and Samsung aren't going away either.

If able to meet earnings estimates this company at a 1 PEG would sell for over $100 a share. Even if they missed estimates by 50% the stock still should be at least at $75. Good free cash flow, good balance sheet.

Picked up seagate a bit ago as i tend to buy stocks of companies whom their products i use and enjoy. Seagate drives have always been great quality, they've positioned themselves very well in the SSD and SED drive market for the growth that is about to happen.. as data centers start moving to SSD Seagate is going to enjoy a lot of growth. In both the SSD and SED markets their ready when the time comes.. For those reasons I am Long STX.
