Sorry, RSH, but I'm riding you to the bottom. Yes, you have an untapped credit facility. Yes, you have a healthy pile of cash sitting on the sidelines. But that stock buyback you completed at the end of FY11 at an average price of $12.80? Ouch.

And those thinning margins? Let's consider your thinning margins. They dropped from 41% to 35% YOY. Historically you have always hovered between 45%-48%.

Let's not kid ourselves. AMZN would love to have your 35% margin...but it's a troubling trend. Especially when we consider the products that are dragging on those margins of yours (tablets, smartphones). These are the revenue-driving products of the future. Can RSH survive on increasingly shrinking margins?

The Sprint business unit under performed even your expectations, and while you've expanded with VZ, will those Target Mobile Centers really help prop up the margins? Can you continue to compete against the likes of Best Buy - or even Amazon?

RSH is facing the same challenge as larger-box retailers are: online commerce. AMZN's aforementioned overall margins hover around 1.5%, but they make up for it with volume. RSH can't compete in a race to the bottom on pricing and margin-thinning. All Amazon pays for is warehouse space. RSH needs brick and mortar stores, kiosks....employees manning those. My long-term prognosis is not a positive one for RSH.

Best bet is an acquisition play...but who's shopping for an electronics B&M retailer these days?
