Don't be fooled by those jerks to stupid to know that if the Government was really losing 10% of the money those charlatans claim they do to smoking side effects than it would be easier to score heroin than to buy a pack of smokes. Govenments may be inept, innefficient, wasteful and run by the biggest morons the country has in it like the US is but these crooked slobs are cash pigs who oink, oink oink for more and more money to buy thier re-elections and they are not letting 100s of billions of dollars go to waste because of the costs of smoking. They are reaping the lions share of the profits with zero liability just like they do with "Big Oil" who they enjoy well over twice the profits of. Next time you get Gored at the pump it's not the .08 cents a gallon profit ExxonMobil is making that is costing you. Try the $1.50-2.00 a gallon in gas taxes your paying if you want to find the greedy pigs oinking up your cash. Same goes for the Tobacco companies who thanks to government swines will be enjoying what economists call a Cartel for some time.
