NOC like the rest of the defense industry are going to struggle as the government reduces the amount of funding available. The competition for the limited dollars will increase, thus reducing profit margins as companies attempt to gain contracts to ensure core businesses continue. In addition, if congress does not pass a debt reduction resolution the defense department will loose a significant portion of its budget automaticall, which will further hinder the defense industry.
