Calif delayed new debt offerrings lately, noone wanted their bonds! Just like their congresswomen, they are out of control in the spending department, with little fiscal restraint! Interest rates are heading North sooner than later, as the Fed will most likely stop their purchasing of old green paper, while the US cranks out new ones fresh off the press. Also, how about the debt coverage of the INSURANCE COMPANIES backing these bonds? AMBAC? or MBIA? or ????
Also, equities are beginning to grow "Popular" again, as the market has actually produced some winners in this economy...if GM can do it, why worry. Perhaps it's the DEMOCRATIC controlled government and their favorite bases like California we should be worried about. SHORT THIS DOG, before it BITES YOU!
