Things have turned around at Microsoft. Windows 7 is a hit, I've been using it for a few months and the productive increase justifies an upgrade. The Xbox 360 is the best value gaming console on the market. The new Zune and Zune marketplace are actually better than Apple's offering. Expect the next ...More

Windows 7 is either going to be late, or seen as nearly identical to Vista. Those using XP now will see little if any reason to switch to the new OS, and some may even go to Apple. The giant (rule maker, to be Foolish) in this arena is MSFT. Phenomenal and aggressive management, coupled with the momentum of bing and the recent target price increase at BofA to $28 makes this a very attractive buy. Windows 7 is also on the way, and although many are skeptical because of the performance of Vista, the new OS is going to blow people out of the water. We had all of the word processing features we really needed in Word 95 and WordPerfect (1995). How long will people keep falling for that planned obsolescence MS Office upgrade that is backwards incompatible? All this company has done since Gates left is to make the cereal boxes wider.
