The new leappad tablet is one of the hot toys of the 2011 Christmas season and is basically sold out everywhere. This of course has led to some online retailers to start price gauging the product by selling it anywhere from 150-300% above normal retail price. I say that just to emphasize the current demand for the product. Leap Frog is only a 300M ish cap firm so I totally believe that one product (and it's accesories) will be it's major revenue earner for the at least the next quarter.

LF beat EPS estimates by $.08 when they reported 3rd quarter earnings at the beginning of November and that was the 5th quarter in a row that they've beat. The 4th Qtr is traditionally a strong quarter for them and with a hot new product on the market I think they will beat again. I like this company as a short term holiday play (3ish months) and my price target for the stock is only $6, which is still a 20% gain over current prices. Major resistance seems to be the $5 mark and it is alway possible that overall macro economic indicators will push the whole market down, taking this stock with it.
