Like with Lowe's, Home Depot will not do notably better until the housing market turns around. Like someone else said to my comment about Lowe's, when the housing market pick back up people will buy up properties and those in bad shape will have to… More

Bet on continued economic recovery, company generates more cash flow per dollar of assets than Lowe's. HD has the slightly higher dividend and slightly higher growth rate expected.
