The Home Depot, Inc. (HD)

***

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Prices are currently depressed somewhat because of the downturn in the economy so I think that gives them decent upside potential if things improve. Their dividend is currently 3.27%

As the housing market starts a comeback, customers should also start coming back to HD for projects... this of course assumes that the housing market continues to recover.

As economy stabilizes, more people will opt to learn and do their own home improvement projects. Also, as the economy picks up contractors will again be in need of building supplies. If the indicators are true, the uptick should be in the next nine months.
