FCX is a prime supplier of copper to the world with a gold stream to boot. Driven by a growing world economy with particular dependency on China, this company will do well as the world comes out of recession. (Just get out before the China real estate bubble bursts). 2.2% yield beats the bank.

Oh, and the chart looks real nice right here, good cup base with a handle forming, ready to break out.

Paper at the end of the day is worth nothing. Absolutely nothing. Our country is headed toward (in) a huge debt crisis that is underplayed by the media who favor covering Europe. Our country is unloading tons and tons of dollars into the market. Inflation, deflation, the future outlook is not good.
Gold is the only thing that matters at a time like this.

As well copper wire is the only defense against an emp pulse... just saying.

China and other developing nations will have high copper demand which will keep prices high.
