This is a good company. Revenue has been a little choppy i the recent past. There will always be a demand for makeup. The valuation has gotten a little rich. I think it is due for a slight pullback. I think it might be fine to get into after that.

Estee Lauder is posting some staggeringly good numbers.

I'm currently writing an article about "the lipstick index." The lipstick index posits that, in uncertain economic times, a consumer will turn from more expensive indulgences, like a $500 dress, to cheaper ones, like a $20 lipstick. The term was coined in the early 2000's by Leonard Lauder, then chairman of Estee Lauder, who found that during tough economic times his lipstick sales went up.

The lipstick index is still holding up, if EL's numbers mean anything.
