Worst in class. Crappy I-bank and need to cut a lot of fat out of their operations. Do not provide great service to their HF and institutional clients. Hung with a lot of CMBS and Leveraged Loans.

low exposure to troubled debt, P/B under 1 with dividend, good capitalization ratios. Wish I found this one myself, forbes article.

Safest , largest , conservative banks out there.. if this bank is going down then everything is goind down. including your money. so in a fair world recovery scenario , CS is has the most potential and best risk/reward ratio at this price.
