A for-profit, post-secondary education company which serves the growing segment of the population seeking to acquire career-oriented education.

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Proprietary schools primarily compete against community colleges. In several large states, major cuts to this form of public education are anticipated for the fall semester, set to start Aug/Sept. With so many core courses over crowded, students will look for alternate ways to continue toward their ...More

Schools like these are a joke, and will go away now that the easy credit spigot is turned off. After charging people outrageous rates for the same education one could get at any community college for 20% of the price, I hope all of the management is stricken with painful and debilitating nipple infe...More

A market full of longshots.Corinthian looks like it's carving out a strong foothold in the get your education so you can have a chance at a job. Stock has been on an ugly downtrend, and could be had even cheaper while everyone is chasing those high flyers sure to come down to reality and satisfy that need to buy high and sell low. The company is growing along just fine. Beat est. in 7 out of the last 8 calls. 2010 2nd quarter call clocked in 140% ahead of last years 2009 2nd quarter.Low P/E 12.50 when compared to the industry and very attractive forward P/E 8.00 PEG 0.7 Seems to be picking up steam as 1 year eps growth rate 112% shows. Company ups guidance for 3rd quarter and full year eps and revenue. One to watch

Future intensic value is much greater than current price. Upcoming earnings report will be strong and growth of total revenue and eps will continue to increase over the next three years as retraining of under/unemployeed workers continues. Federal government funding/loans will remain robust as we continue to work our way out of the current recession.

Despite sustained revenue and earnings growth during 2009, this stock has not participated in the overall stock market rise of the past 10 months. COCO's "Allied Health" programs are popular as many stability seeking workers are pursue training to gain skills for medical service related jobs.
