Another electric/gas play for the long term, this company is a good size too, not too big, but not too small. Not sure what happened around 2000 to cause such a large price drop, but it seems like they have recovered nicely.

This company has several legal problems, which if not settled to their credit, will be costly.Formerly Reliant, the information available is not real bad, but is murky. Just too many questions,

I just finished reading Barron's recent article. They like CNP because 1) They just won a lawsuit with Texas Public Utility Commission which is worth up to $4 a share. 2) The company has little debt and should repurchase shares 3) Valuation on PE on par with utilities industry at 14.5 next years earnings. 4) This company could be a takeover candidate
